Bye Bye South America Hello India!!

Hi gang!!!! (did i really just use the word gang?).........about time i updated the little fella....so here goes..well quite a bit has gone on since the last post. A week in buenos airies (after a killer bus ride from el calafate)....then we spent a week in uruguay a couple of days in brazil...and then it was bye be south america!! So anyway BA was awesome..its a great city tres hot though...We went out on the lash with this swedish bunch saw the sights, met up with these argentinian girls we met in Santiago and generally had a good time. OH and we saw the BOCA JUNIORS play at the Bombenaria (sweet box). Boca are that cheating midget but lets face it awesome football legend Maradonnas old team. The atmosphere (due to the 12th jugador - the fans) was amazing, they lost 2-1 like but they were singing, banging drums and generally going mad. The opposition side San Lorenzos keeper scored a penalty and went mad taunting the home fans ; so they threw bottles of piss at him and spat...tres funny....the away fans got their own back by urinating on the home fans...madness. We sat in the "quieter" section but it was an amazing experience. Other than that we took a tango lesson and saw a show which was great, the dancers are tres skilled. Overall we ate really well, mainly at the all you can eat "buffet libre" places. Yer and of course we had a steak so Buenos was cool. Sooooooo anyway; after that we took the ferry across the Rio Plate to uruguay and spent a few days in Punto del Este, this is a holiday resort for uruguans and argentinians, its quite posh but tres good. We got a day of beach action and stayed at this great backpacker hostel full of good bods with a nice terrace. It is one of the most sociable hostels we've stayed in to be fair, out every night...Met loads of nice people...was ace. Unfortunately a storm occurred so it got tres windy and rained for most of it but managed to get some sun before it came, the downside was i bought a massive piece of chocolate cake which although nice cost me 5 pounds..hey ho. So next and feeling tres hung over we started our journey back to sao paolo in brazil to catch a plane, stopping off briefly at surfinf central Floronopolis in Brazil which incidentally was reaching the end of its mardi gras carnival...didnt see much of it though since we weren't there long...but we splashed out and stayed in an ibis hotel since we were a bit fed up of dormitories and it was our last night so sod it and that was that....yer so india next got the visa....cant wait...just hope i dont get dysentry but my belly is threatening to return after scoffing too much steak and quaffing lager in uruguay and argy so maybe a bit of food poisening is in order!!!
Oh we lost some pix cos a memory card corrupted so no pix from the game!! damn!!

take care bods.........
